Will you dance with me??

It was lunch time when the girls got the announcement. The dining hall was filled with excited screams and a little bit of laughter. Tonight was the dance. All the girls wanted to shower and get freshened up for those Camp Carolina boys, but unfortunately, due to the massive amount of rain and mud that afternoon… cleaning up was a little harder than most would’ve liked.
The boys arrived soon after dinner, and the dance was on its way. The thing I love about the dance is it’s not even about dancing with the boys, it’s about dancing with your campers. I know it was a great bonding experience for me and my girls. I mean, what bonds you better than dancing crazy to some Backstreet Boys and totally being silly!? I was dancing with one of my campers and later that night she told me that dance had been her favorite because I was the one dancing with her!

Backstreet boys is a very popular band during my teenage years, they are great performers too.

All the other messages left in this are probubly from 2007, the year I went to camp and met you, but sadly there was not a dance for our session. I think I know why though, there was probubly a session before the one week mini-session that we went to that DID have a dance. So the Camp Carolina session that started and danced with the session before ours was probubly still going on during our one week session and they didn’t want to have TWO dances with TWO different sets of girls. I’m just saying- that is probubly what happened. You know- it is ironic that everyone is all “LET’S KILL CAMP CAROLINA” when it is a competition against them, but when it is a DANCE everyone is all “THEY’RE SO DREAMY!”
Any way- it was nice meeting you all at camp the year before last and Nell, if you are the same counseler I think you are- I still remember you, and when you let Maggie and I borrow your iPod to see our lyric sheets at Spirit Fire =-)

I love the dance! Me and my camp buddies had an awesome time dancing like we will never dance again! I hope I get to go again this year!

The dance was so crazy! It’s always really fun. It’s our chance to wear our fancy outfit and put on the fancy makeup that we brought (or borrowed!) just for this one night. I love the dance!
What about the 1-week session? (pleez say yes!)
