Hey there, hi there! My name is Grace and I can’t wait to be back in the heart of a wooded mountain this summer. Rockbrook has been my home away from home since I was a rising 6th grade. It has been the highlight of my years ever since. I am counting down the days til I am back in the camp spirit surrounded by my favorite people. I am looking forward to meeting everyone! Hello all! My name is Lilah. I am from Asheville, NC and now live in Boulder, CO. I was lucky enough to attend Rockbrook for a few years as a kid. It was so special that I now feel drawn back to it as an adult! At camp I loved pottery, riflery, and looking for critters in the creek. I am so excited to be back in the mountains I grew up in surrounded by such a wonderful community this summer!

Hii!! I’m Bridgette and I am so excited to be coming to Rockbrook this summer as a CIT! I first came to camp when I was 10 and I have been coming back ever since! I live in Florida, so going to the mountains of North Carolina each summer is always a highlight of my year. I love being in the spirit of camp and can not wait to meet everyone this summer and have SO MUCH fun! See you all soon!! 🙂

Howdy Rockbrookers! My name is Eva and this will be my 15th year here in the heart of a wooded mountain. I’m so excited to be hanging out all summer long as the Middler Linehead! You can definitely find me channeling my inner Robin Hood down at the archery range or munching on muffins on the hill this summer. I hail from the good ole town of Brevard, NC, and I am a rising senior at Davidson College. Camp has always been a magical source of joyful song and endless laughter throughout my life, and I can’t wait to spend time under the hemlock tree on Hikers’ Rock making a fairy house or singing Oh I Was Born at the top of my lungs as I race down the slide. I can’t wait to meet so many new friends this summer and reconnect with all the old ones too! Looking forward to walking with purpose across the hill to greet you all!!

Hey there, Hi there, my name’s Christine and I can’t wait to be back at camp for my 10th summer!!! I just finished up my sophomore year at Clemson studying Civil Engineering. When I’m at camp you can usually find me at the riflery range, the lake, or on the porch of the hillside lodge. I’m super excited to be back at camp this summer!

Hi!!! My name is Abby and I’m from Delray Beach, FL. This will be my 7th summer at RBC and I’m so excited! I just graduated high school and will be starting at the University of Alabama (roll tide!) in the fall to major in aerospace engineering and possibly a minor in Spanish. My favorite things to do at camp are hanging out with campers, sitting by the lake or a lodge, and doing all the fun activities camp has to offer! Camp has a special place in my heart, and I hope I can help my campers make this a special place for them too!

Hey there hi there! My name is Sofia and I will be a CIT at sleepaway camp. I am from Tampa, FL, and have lived here my whole life so I definitely treasure my time away in the heart of the wooden mountain. I have been going to camp for 6 summers and each one has been more memorable than the last. I love the endless laughter on the hill, the rewarding muffin breaks, and the refreshing (yes, refreshing) lake during a hot day. I especially love the perfect atmosphere that cultivates and grows timeless friendships. I cannot wait to make all camper’s experiences as life-changing as mine through the exchange of friendship bracelets, quick games of tennis during free swim, and of course Rockbrook’s iconic songs!

Hi there! My name is Claire Herrnstein and this is my third year at camp, but my first year on staff! This year I’ll be a CIT, and I’m SO excited to get to hang out with everyone! My favorite part about camp is definitely hanging out with friends (new and old), reading by the creek, and seeing everyone’s smiling faces. Personally, I enjoy spending time with my pets, reading, listening to music, and studying philosophy. I’m super excited to meet everyone and have the best summer yet!

Hey everyone! I am sooooooo excited to return to camp this upcoming summer. This past school year I attended the University of Georgia and studied social work. In my free time, I loved going to football games (GO DAWGS), hanging out with friends on the lawns, and getting coffee in downtown Athens, Georgia. I could not be more excited to be back in Brevard this summer! I look forward to hanging out with all the new campers and catching up with the returners. I am counting down the days until I can meet all of yall!

My name is Seda Feldman and I am so excited to return to camp this summer! I have been coming to Rockbrook every summer since I was six years old and it is genuinely the place that has shaped me into the person I am today. This summer I will be working second and third sessions and I am so excited to see so many new and familiar faces. While at camp I love to play by the creek and read on the hill, or make friendship bracelets with my campers. I am originally from Oregon but have lived in Asheville, North Carolina, and Cincinnati Ohio. Currently, I will be going into my second year at Ohio University in Athens, Ohio, and alongside my social work major, I am minoring in outdoor recreation and education, and I will be getting a certificate in women in gender studies. I am so excited to use the skills I have learned through my first year of college to better myself as a counselor this summer, and I can’t wait to meet you all!
