Lauren Gatti

Lauren Gatti

Hi there! My name is Lauren and I’m SO, SO excited to be returning to RBC for my 8th summer at camp. I’m originally from Northern Virginia (just outside of DC) and now I’m studying Political Science with minors in French and Business at Miami University (Ohio), where I just completed my freshman year. I’m so excited to be back in North Carolina after a couple summers away. Rockbrook has always been one of my favorite places where I’ve made the best memories, and I’ve found friends for life who I get to work with this summer!

As I camper, I always loved going on off-property adventures and trips, as well as fun hikes up to Castle Rock for Sunset. You could always find me on the tennis courts, doing mermaid laps, and the lakeside lodge as well where I would spend hours making friendship bracelets and learning songs from the songbook. I truly can’t wait to be back in my favorite place on earth to make so many more memories!

Hey hey! My name is Mary, and I’m from Long Creek, South Carolina. I cannot WAIT to spend this summer at Rockbrook! Some of my favorite camp memories are late night talks with friends, swimming in the chilly lake, and meeting so many awesome new people. Growing up, I’ve always loved being outdoors, spending time with friends, and making memories that last long after summer ends, which is exactly why camp feels so special to me. From the moment I first arrived at Rockbrook, I could tell it was a place filled with kindness, laughter, and adventure.
This summer, I can’t wait to be around all of the fun, encouraging energy that is the Rockbrook community! Whether we’re trying new activities, singing silly songs (my favorite is the MILK song!), or laughing together on the hill, I’m so excited to help make this the best summer EVER. I’m incredibly grateful to be part of such a caring and joyful community, and I can’t wait to meet everyone soon! <3

Hello everyone,
My name is Luca and I’m from the beautiful city of Cologne in Germany. I had the most amazing time at Rockbrock in the summer of 2024! After an incredible year of study, I’m thrilled to say that I’m almost done with my Bachelor’s degree and I can’t wait to be joining you all again for my second year – it’s going to be amazing!

When I first heard about Camp, I had no idea how much of an impact a place over 4,000 miles away could have on me. But let me tell you, RBC has completely won me over! I’m thrilled to see everyone at RBC become their most authentic selves and feel all the warmth, fun and love that this supportive community brings out of everyone!

At Camp, you’ll most likely find me hiking up Castle Rock (WHOA there!!), cuddling my favorite horses at the barn or trying to complete my mermaid labs for the BEST Ice cream. I can’t wait for another summer full of laughter, adventure and unforgettable moments at RBC!

Hello Rockbrook! My name is Freya, and I am so excited to be back at camp this summer! I was born in West Sussex, England, where a lot of my family lives, but I’ve been living in Holly Springs, North Carolina for almost 10 years now. I first came to Rockbrook as a camper, and after two amazing summers, camp quickly became one of my favorite places. What makes Rockbrook so special to me is the community and how welcoming everyone is. I am so excited to be on staff this summer back in The Heart of a Wooded Mountain.

Outside of camp, I spent six years as an All Star cheer athlete and have also worked for two years as an All Star cheer coach. I’m planning to attend university in the UK, which I’m really excited about! When I was a camper, some of my favorite things were white water rafting, celebrating the 4th of July at camp, singing in the dining hall, making friendship bracelets, and of course opening day mac and cheese. I’m looking forward to doing all of those things again this summer. I can’t wait to meet everyone and make so many new memories together at Rockbrook!

Shalom! My name is Naomi (she/her) and I’m excited to spend another magical, joy-filled summer at Rockbrook! Rockbrook is my haven and home away from home, and a summer spent at Rockbrook never fails to re-energize my spirit.

Here I can be my silliest, most authentic self. Time slows down, we get to play outside with our friends, try new things, and all are encouraged to be their true, best selves. I love getting to connect with kids, which I also get to do during the year as an Assistant Teacher in the Acorn Class (1st-3rd grades) at Mountain Sun Community School here in Brevard. As an Assistant Director, you’ll no doubt find me rockin’ a costume, playing in the lake, or performing a skit announcing all the fun we have planned for you!

I love this fairyland of beauty with all my heart and am so grateful to be a part of this special community! See you soon!

I grew up in a small village in England and went to an all girls school for most of my life. This is partly why I chose Rockbrook Camp as seeing girls throw themselves into an activity with full confidence is amazing. I hope to encourage girls of all ages to fully embrace and enjoy all camp has to offer and be their big sister throughout the summer.

Coming from a small village has also given me the greatest appreciation for nature and making full use of it, especially during the summer. I can’t wait to see what North Carolina has to offer too!
