Rockbrook 2026

Hi! My name is Blair and I am SO excited to be back at camp for my 9th summer! I’m from Memphis, TN and am a rising third year at the University of Virginia double majoring in Psychology and Youth & Social Innovation. After a busy school year, I’m looking forward to disconnecting and enjoying the beautiful setting of Rockbrook with new and old friends. There truly is no other place like it! When at camp you can usually find me frolicking on the hill with my campers, zipping down the waterslide, or singing songs in the dining hall as loud as possible (especially if we’re singing the Chicken song!). RBC has been my home away from home for many years, and it brings me so much joy to be able to foster that sense of belonging for others. I can’t wait to make lots of friendship bracelets, eat tons of Rockbrookies, and laugh with you all this summer! YAY CAMP!!!

Hi there! My name is Julia and I am so excited to be returning to camp this summer! I started going to Rockbrook when I was 7 years old but this will be my first year as a counselor. I’m originally from Florida but now I spend most of my time in New York City for college. I think what I’m most excited for this summer is spending time in the heart of the wooded mountains and reuniting with my some of my camp friends who are also returning as counselors this year!

My favorite activities as a camper were dance, riflery, and folkore. Rockbrook is also where I did horseback riding for the first time and it was so much fun! I’m looking forward to seeing so many new faces at camp this summer and I cannot wait to meet everyone! Oh, and if there is a dance flash mob I am SO there.

This, in addition to being a lyric from my favorite camp song “How did we come to meet Pal?” becomes truer and truer each year. Rockbrook brings together some of the most incredible people, and each summer brings excitement, adventure, and growth! My name is Lily and I just finished my freshman year at Sewanee – The University of the South. I had an incredible year, but I’ve been waiting all winter to return to my home in The Heart of a Wooded Mountain.

At camp, you can find me teaching song and dance numbers for the camp play (this year is Annie!!), instructing down at the Riflery range preparing for the camp tournament, or working on my woven potholders while laughing with my campers on the junior lodge porch. Camp is truly one of the most special places on Earth, and I can’t wait to meet all the unique people who will bring something new to our community.

Hello Rockbrook! I’m Gabi, and I am so excited to come back to camp for my first year on staff! I grew up in Maryland (Go Terps!), right around Washington DC. I was first introduced to Rockbrook by my cousin, who was also a camper and on staff, and I have come to look forward to camp every single summer since. I believe Rockbrook is one of the most special places where everyone can be their true selves and have a fun day every day! I LOVE being in the mountains and getting to explore every day, which leads me into my love for traveling and seeing new places. I hope this year is fun-filled and amazing, and I know that whenever I am at camp, it will be!

Hello Rockbrook! I grew up right outside of Houston and the summers are always unbearable, thankfully for as long as I can remember I’ve spent them up in the Smokey mountains at my grandmas house. There never was much to do, so one summer my mom sent me to Rockbrook. Since then I have come every summer (almost) and when I finish my HUP year I was so sad to no longer be a camper. Now I’m more excited than ever to be a CIT. Rockbrook is truly my home away from home; I’ve met my forever friends at Rockbrook and am so glad a place so special has brought me to people so special. The RBC community is so loving and caring, no matter what is going wrong in your life, the second you step foot into camp everything goes away and all that matters is being outdoors with your closest pals.

I grew up in Brighton & Hove, which is in the South of England. It’s famous for its beautiful beaches and pier, which I loved playing games on growing up. The sea may not be the warmest, but that never stops us from enjoying it!

From the age of 4, I have been motorhoming with my family. We love to explore new places by travelling around Europe in both sunshine and snow! This is my first Summer at camp and I am so excited to start this new adventure, meet new people, and bring lots of positive energy to the Rockbrook community! Travelling so much has made me very adaptable, confident, and comfortable in new environments, which I think will help me fit into camp life really well. I can’t wait to make some amazing summer memories and have LOTS of camp fun!

My name is Bree and i’m from all the way down under, Melbourne Australia!! I am buzzing to have my first ever American summer at Rockbrook, and experience camp life!! Although I grew up and live a 30 second walk to the most beautiful beach, I’m ready to spend my days by the lake and in the mountains!

As I just finished high school, I’m super excited to create the funnest and most memorable moments that I can look back on, and learn all about american culture.

Hey there, hi there! I’m Stella and I’m so excited for another year at camp! I can’t remember a summer I didn’t spend in the heart of the wooded mountains and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I’m from Tampa, Florida so it’s safe to say that camp is a welcome, green change of scenery. My favorite memories consist of me sitting on the Middler Lodge porch making a bracelet, playing tennis during free swim, and splashing in the lake with friends! As a full counselor this year I am so excited to make the camp experience as fun as possible like how it was for me!

Hi!! I’m Pearl! I was born and raised in Tampa, so I’ve always loved being outside, going to the beach, and enjoying the sunshine. I think growing up in that kind of environment made me enjoy being active and spending time with other people, which is one of the reasons camp has always been such a fun place for me.

Life at camp has never been boring. Whether it’s activities, time with cabin mates, or just laughing with friends, camp is always something I look forward to every year. Over time, I’ve made a lot of really meaningful friendships and memories there that I’ll always keep with me. Being on staff this year, I hope to bring a fun and positive attitude to the Rockbrook community and help make camp just as exciting and memorable for other campers too.
