Freya Heffer
Hello Rockbrook! My name is Freya, and I am so excited to be back at camp this summer! I was born in West Sussex, England, where a lot of my family lives, but I’ve been living in Holly Springs, North Carolina for almost 10 years now. I first came to Rockbrook as a camper, and after two amazing summers, camp quickly became one of my favorite places. What makes Rockbrook so special to me is the community and how welcoming everyone is. I am so excited to be on staff this summer back in The Heart of a Wooded Mountain.
Outside of camp, I spent six years as an All Star cheer athlete and have also worked for two years as an All Star cheer coach. I’m planning to attend university in the UK, which I’m really excited about! When I was a camper, some of my favorite things were white water rafting, celebrating the 4th of July at camp, singing in the dining hall, making friendship bracelets, and of course opening day mac and cheese. I’m looking forward to doing all of those things again this summer. I can’t wait to meet everyone and make so many new memories together at Rockbrook!
