2026 Rockbrook Alumnae Reunion

Calling all Rockbrook Alumnae!ย Join us this August 21-23 in the Heart of a Wooded Mountain to celebrate Rockbrook’s 105th birthday! Come spend a fabulous weekend in the mountains of North Carolina rekindling your camp memories and friendships.

Girls Camp Cabin TimeSince 1921, when Nancy Carrier welcomed her first girls to Rockbrook, it’s been a haven for everyone, a special place of support and encouragement.ย  The spirit of Rockbrook has touched thousands of lives over the years.

It’s time to recognize Rockbrook’s rich history. It’s time to revisit the scene of your girlhood dreams. It’s time for a camp alumnae reunion!

Questions!

We know you probably have several questions about the reunion weekend. While some planning is still in motion, here are a few answers and the nitty-gritty! Please let us know if you have other questions not included here.

What will we be doing at the reunion?

The reunion is an opportunity for adults who attended Rockbrook as a child, or who worked at Rockbrook, to return to camp and enjoy a few days reconnecting with camp friends, soaking in the camp setting, and celebrating the 105 years of Rockbrook’s history. The weekend will provide a good balance of time to relax, to socialize, to eat well, and to enjoy traditional camp activities. We hope the reunion will strengthen the Spirit of Rockbrook for everyone who attends.

What else is included?

Everyone attending will receive a special reunion t-shirt, plus a surprise Rockbrook reunion memento.

What about staying at camp in the cabins?

Yes, later in the summer we will provide more information about staying at camp, along with a way to reserve a space in particular cabins. We will do our best to accommodate your request!

Where can I stay nearby in Brevard?

There are various hotels, bed and breakfasts, resorts, and short-term rental options in our area. We list many on these local accommodations on our Web site.

Are alcoholic beverages allowed?

Spirit Fire Campers

Yes, we will allow alcoholic beverages during the adult-only portion of the reunion (not during the Sunday afternoon “Family Time”). BYOB, but please be respectful of everyone’s camp experience and consume alcohol responsibly and discretely.

Can someone from Rockbrook pick me up at the airport?

No, sorry, we are unable to provide transportation to or from camp for the reunion. We suggest you reach out to a camp friend who is driving and try to coordinate your travel plans.

Can I bring my spouse who did not attend camp at Rockbrook?

No, the Rockbrook Alumnae Reunion on Friday and Saturday is restricted to adult Alumnae of Rockbrook. Alumnae of all ages and their family members (yes, including children!) are welcome to attend on Sunday afternoon.

What does the “family time” on Sunday entail?

Registering for the “family time” allows Alumnae to enjoy camp with their non-alumnae family members. There will be a mid-day Sunday brunch and then opportunities in the afternoon to swim in the lake, hike the Rockbrook trails, and enjoy a few camp activities.

Further Questions?

Please reach out to us if you have any other questions about the reunion. We’d love to hear from you!

We hope to see you back at camp!
