Catherine Hamlett

Hey y’all, I’m Catherine or you can call me Cat!

I’m from Graham, North Carolina, and I’m currently studying Elementary Education with a minor in Psychology at Western Carolina University. This is my first year on camp staff, and I’m so excited to be here!

Before college, I spent a gap year with AmeriCorps and had some super cool adventures; I soaked up the southern sun while living in Texas, camped under the stars in the Arizona desert for three weeks, stayed in a haunted schoolhouse in Arkansas, hiked part of the Rocky Mountains in Colorado, and got my first taste of camp life in Oklahoma.

Now I’m ready to bring all that energy, creativity, and fun to camp! I may be new, but I’m all in for making memories, laughing way too hard, and having the best summer ever. Can’t wait to meet everyone!
