Bethanie Oliveira

Hey everyone! My name is Bethanie (she/her), and I’m so excited to join the Rockbrook community this summer as a first-time counselor and SEL Intern! I was born and raised in San Jose, CA, and I just completed my junior year at the University of Portland in Portland, OR. I’m studying psychology with hopes of being a therapist for children and adolescents in the future. When I am not studying or doing homework, I love to spend time with my friends, watch Warriors basketball games (huge fan), or practice the guitar (still very much an amateur, but I’m getting there).

One thing that drew me to Rockbrook was the strong, tight-knit, all-girls community. Having attended an all-girls high school, I know how amazing and transformative an all-girls community can be. I absolutely loved my high school experience, and I’m looking forward to bringing that same energy to camp this summer! Can’t wait to meet everyone.
