As we enjoy the leaves changing and the beautiful fall season in the mountains, we usually get to see some familiar faces as they too want to spend time in Brevard. This weekend, long time Rockbrook ladies Catherine Frampton and Katy Kilgore dropped by for a visit and spent some time wandering around camp.
Both girls were campers but actually didn’t know each other until college. They are currently Seniors at Sewanee in Tennessee. Frampton, as everyone calls her at camp, has most recently worked as our Hi-Up counselor for the past few summers and what an amazing job she has done with this group of 16 year-old campers. She is also a founding member of the Walkbrook Walkers, who alongside of the Rockbrook Runners get some great exercise and team spirit in during free time. No matter what she is doing, she bring lots of enthusiasm!
Katy has taken some time off from camp, but was a counselor a few years back on our Senior line and taught some great skills down at the tennis courts! Like Frampton, Katy was pumped to spend time at camp enjoying the amazing colors.
