Counselors-in-Training play a special role in the camp community Usually they come with years of camper experience and lots of enthusiam for camp. They teach 2 activity periods a day and also wash the whole camp’s dishes after each meal! Most will say that they’ve been looking forward to being a counselor for a long time AND that their CIT year was tougher than they expected it to be. CIT’s live in cabins, usually with 2 full-fledged counselors and provide extra support.
