Take a look at this amazing historic photo from camp. It shows campers doing interpretive dance on the lawn in front of the Carrier House. It’s hard to tell if they are really being serious, or, in true Rockbrook fashion, they are just goofing around. But you have to love the flair!
Like to get your groove on? Dance is still an activity at camp. If campers want to, they can be in the dance show, which takes place during the intermission of the play at the end of the session. Of course, there’s lots of dancing at camp – even outside the activity periods – whether at a midnight party, a square dance with boys, or perhaps at an 80’s dance party with just us girls!
It’s great fun to be one of the dance instructors at camp. You’ll have your own dance studio with a smooth wooden floor and mirrored wall. You can teach any type of dance you wish, from jazz, hip-hop, ballet, Irish, etc. The girls are always open to experimenting and learning new styles.
