What a privilege it is to be joining the Rockbrook Camp family this summer and guiding campers amidst the incredible natural resources of WNC! There is nothing I love more than helping folks seek the joy of all the amazing outdoor activities there are to do here. I use she/her/hers pronouns. I moved to WNC after working at a summer camp in Nashville, Tennessee for seven summers and teaching at an outdoor education program in northeast Alabama. I came to these mountains to run a nature-based overnight camp near Dupont State Forest. After four years there, I started my own company conducting trainings for camps all over the world with a focus on supporting camps in the southeast. Whenever possible, I am out exploring and finding new trails and new ways to adventure. I’m a trail runner, whitewater enthusiast, backpacker, geocacher, cyclist, and wanderer. You can often find me playing on my SUP or my whitewater raft on the French Broad or Pigeon rivers or practicing my roll in my whitewater kayak. I’m a total nature nerd. I love all the incredible wildflowers we have here in WNC and watching the tadpoles grow up in the puddles across the street from my house. If I am not outside, I’m thinking about being outside. Let’s go play!
