I was first introduced to Rockbrook when my family came to Camp Carolina to pick-up my brother. He did not like camp, but it looked fun to me. The next summer I went to Rockbrook as a first year Senior. My favorite activities were hiking, climbing and canoeing. I loved being at camp. I attended Rockbrook though my Hi-up year. Then returned for the entire summer as a Camp Counselor and was on the hiking staff. My first year as a counselor I was a Middler Line counselor. The following years until I moved to Colorado, I was a Senior Line counselor. I was Head of Hiking my last two years at Rockbrook.

I moved to Colorado after I graduated from the University of Georgia and lived there for almost 30 years. While in Colorado I became a Montessori Primary Lead Guide. I opened my own school in 2004 in Lyons, CO. In 2013 I moved back to Atlanta to help out my Mom. I am now the Head of School at Stepping Stone Montessori School in Sugar Hill, GA.

I am so excited to be back at camp. I feel like I am coming home when I am at Rockbrook. There is no place like it. The scent it has, the sunsets to watch, the trails to hike, and the life long friends made while at camp. These are the things I am looking forward to rediscovering again. I can’t wait to meeting everyone!
