Caroline Seelman

Hey y’all! My name is Caroline and I am beyond elated to be returning to the heart of a wooded mountain. I am from New Orleans and love the city (and the food!!), but always count down the days until I can go back to camp. With a desire to spend more time in North Carolina, I chose to attend Elon University where I am currently finishing up my junior year. Having attended Rockbrook for nearly half of my life, it is definitely a place I consider to be my second home. The first time I drove up the gravel driveway at camp with my parents, I was a shy, somewhat awkward, and introverted 11 year old girl. Today, I return as a strong, independent, and outgoing 21 year old thanks to the Rockbrook community and all the people in it. The confidence I have at camp is something that has been woven into the daily fabric I wear. For my growth as a person, I could not be more thankful.

It is my hope that I can serve as a role model of what a Rockbrook girl is and can be. In addition, I hope to provide my campers with the same safe haven, love, and support that I received from my counselors. I cannot wait to witness the growth of my campers that can happen in just a few short and magical weeks at camp!
