Abby Crady

Hey everyone! I’m Abby, and I am from Louisville, Kentucky. Growing up, I spent a lot of my time outdoors, and, as I’ve gotten older, I’ve found that is where I feel the most happiness and fulfillment. I grew up around a lot of parks in my area, and I found I spent a lot of my time hiking, scavenging, or biking around enjoying being outside. That is what led me to pursue my studies and (hopefully) a future career in the environmental field! The earth is something that is so important and beautiful to me, and I can’t wait to share and experience that with the campers as well as my fellow counselors. I am drawn to camp because I know that they value the planet as much as I do! I am also drawn to the communal aspect of camp, and how everyone is a part of the greater community with the intention of getting to know everyone and to support each other. I hope to foster a welcoming and inclusive community where everyone feels as though they can be their true authentic selves. I love getting to know new people and making new friendships, and I can’t wait to meet everyone!!
