Summer Camp Food

Meal times in the dining hall are full of singing, clapping, and really delicious summer camp food!

The Rockbrook camp kitchen crew, led by our long-time head chef Rick Hastings, provides an amazing variety of kid-friendly-yet-healthy meals.

There is always a vegetarian and gluten-free option at each meal, fruits and vegetables, a full deluxe salad bar and a peanut butter and jelly station available at lunch and dinner.

Our Delicious Meals

This short video provides a glimpse into the camp kitchen. Narrated by Rick Hastings, it describes the made-from-scratch philosophy guiding our camp meals.

Take a look and see why campers and staff members alike rave about the food at Rockbrook!

Dietary Concerns

Summer Camp Girls Kitchen

Our kitchen staff is knowledgeable of, and willing to work with, any dietary challenges your daughter may have. The kitchen takes great pride providing what girls need to eat, whether it be vegan, gluten-free, or accommodating food allergies.

Parents will be able to (and encouraged to!) communicate any special dietary needs on their camper’s Health History form, and Profile form.

Staying Hydrated

We encourage campers to drink plenty of water throughout the day. There are water coolers, as well as fruit, kept on the dining hall porch all day long. In order to be more environmentally friendly and to cut back on the amount of paper cups we throw away, the “Green Gnome” recommends each camper have her own water bottle. Please pack one or you may purchase one on opening day.
