Fall Fun

Hey there fellow Rockbrookers! We hope the new school year is going well for everyone, though we are sure you all miss camp just as much as we do. Things are going great here in Brevard. We have had some nice weather for all of the annual fall festivals happening here in Western North Carolina. Fall is always a beautiful and exciting time of year in this part of the country.

With all of this wonderful weather, it puts us in the mood for some adventure. Camine just returned from Vail, CO where she was in the wedding of her best Rockbrook friend Tracy Phelps. Next, she is headed on a sea kyaking trip to the Outer Banks, unless Ophelia gets in the way. Charlotte is going to fly up to Boston soon for a college reunion. Leah is headed down to Charleston, SC to work with a county park. Jerry and Ann will be leaving soon to visit Lucie and Wink in Virginia. Margaret Lyle is also in Virginia, where she just attended a fun family wedding. It sure is a busy month!

We miss the summer and having all of our camp buddies around, but we know we will see you next year. Keep in touch!

Happy Friday everyone-
We are headed out on the road for our first camp parties of the New Year. Margaret Lyle is headed to Florida for 2 and 1/2 weeks so if you live down there be on the lookout. Check out our website or the upcoming newsletter for our schedule.
We are excited that in addition to our camp parties we will also be hosting some parties with our friends at Camp Carolina. That way our brothers and sisters can come together. We will also be recruiting staff members together at several college campuses.
We hope to see you on the road- give us a shout at 828-884-6151 if you would like to host a camp party. We always love to get to hang out with you guys.
Talk to you soon!

Happy 2005 to all our Rockbrook Girls!

We hope that you all had a wonderful holiday. All of us at camp had a nice vacation and are now getting back in the swing of things. As a matter of fact, Margaret Lyle leaves today for our first slide show of the new year. It will be held in Macon, GA at Paint’n and Kil’n Time on Ingleside Avenue. Should be a great time for all our Macon RBC girls. Hopefully some future campers will be able to attend as well.

Part of our New Years plan at camp was to start this blog for all you guys- so here it is! We will update it frequently so you can see what is going on in Brevard. This way if you have news we can put it on the blog right away. We will continue to do our newsletter, but this will allow us to keep in touch more often. Hooray! So let us hear from you and we will put you on the blog!
