North Carolina Spring at RBC

Spring has really sprung at camp these days… leaves on the trees, mountain laurel blooming, birds just about everywhere! Gosh, camp is right around the corner. Hope you’re as excited as we are!

Schools Out! I am so excited. Today I slept til 11:00. When I got up my family and I went to Bobby’s Dairy Dip for lunch. Then my brother and I worked in the yard. After that we played on the slip and slide. Now my brother is doing a workbook.
This is on a completly diffrent subject but this year for my birthday I am taking some of my friends to one of the American Idol tour concerts. I liked Katherine but I knew Taylor would win. Chris was the best of the idols. He already has a record deal. I think he was better than Taylor. Someone else please post comments. I feel so lonley:(

Rockbrook is the best camp ever! I can’t wait. There is only one more day of school for me so I am really excited. Anyone going for three weeks in July please leave a comment. I hope that I see any one who is. I wrote a poem about Rockbrook called Ode to Rockbrook. Here it is,
Thunderstorms so hard the ground shakes like an old rollercoaster
    Lake like an artic pool
    Cabins filled with spiders
    Trunks covering the floor
    Hot in the day
    Cold in the night
    Archery shoots arrows
    Riflery shoots bullets
    Rockbrook
    My home away from home
Please feel free to post comments about it or your own poetry:)
